anyway ips have high image quality but imho are good panel for movie and gaming at single player. So i try bf bc 2 with 120hz and the image are really amazing more more fast no lost frame, really good experience Razz

andd xD please explain why IPS are not good for multiplayer ;l 120hz does not give you any advantage in multiplayer, it will not make you a better player ;x It might feel a little smoother but most people wouldn't notice the difference imo.

Just hit 5.4ghz with 1.5v btw D; Only for a Superpi run though, 6.990 seconds, would of been better but I had my ram clocked low and unoptimized OS ;x

I'm not gonna try to go any higher then 1.5v on air, if I still had water I'd go 1.6v Sad

My Xeon still lives! He just has a new owner Sad

I put 1.6v+ through that Xeon for hours, didn't harm it or degrade at all :D

GTX570 is fail card, well not fail.. It's a good performing card but lots have died from a little overclocking and small voltage increases, the cheap 4 phase power thingie is to blame apparently Razz

I've seen at least 15 die on OCN :l

Anyway idk which card I'll get, depends if I can stop myself spending it all on skunk Sad

oh really in the italian forum more guys use 570 at 900-950 mhz and no one die, but imho oc isn't necessary for the 570.....

It's not the point of being necessary, it's the fact they cheaped out on the power phases/VRMs.

GTX580 has more power phases Smile

570 is 4 for GPU and 2 for memory. I'm not sure exactly about the reference 580 but I know the Asus 580 has 8 for GPU and 2 for memory but it's a non reference PCB :l I think maybe 6 + 2 for the reference cards though ;x

Oh and I decided on 24/7 OC, 4.7ghz with 1.3v under load, drops to
1.296v sometimes and up to 1.32v at idle but I'm happy with it running 4.8Ghz with 1.35v bios 1.344v under load now ;x

Hmm... I think I will buy a GTX460 tomorrow, it's only the 768mb version but I can get it for £70 delivered, new in box :l

I'm pretty desperate and will take anything better than this 6600GT Razz
